Logo Design –

Retail Store Logo|Brand Identity

…I designed the logo for the retail store, Mr. E’s Smokin’ Gift Shop, on Reynolds Rd. and Airport Hwy., in Toledo, Ohio.

The Logo is a five-color vector image (see color separation chart above). This is the same color palette as Mr. E’s sister-store, The Loonar Station…

I chose this for screen-printing and advertising, to create a complete brand, under two identity’s.

This logo was printed on a banner, and attached to the storefront. The logo was also printed on transparent material, and displayed as the illuminated roadside sign. It was completed, upon my suggestion, to refit the roadside sign with LED lighting, to increase night visibility. I have included my original roadside sign mock-up, which was sent to the sign company. (see above)

As Art Director for the Retail Company, my focus was on local and regional advertising. I worked continuously to create ads that contained products available in the retail stores.  I photographed hundreds of local products and other products with my own personal Nikon Digital SLR camera system. 

I designed and created all retail company advertising, and met every publishing deadline.

As Art Director, from 2009-2015, I created a total of 235 local and regional ads, featured in newspapers, online, and other publications.

Three entry boxes were printed, constructed and placed in two Toledo, Ohio retail stores and one in the Trenton, Michigan retail store.  This was a major marketing campaign which included printed and online advertising.
